Bob Urquhart has kindly agreed to take on the post of Regional Coach.
Bob is a Grade 2 coach and his contact details can be found on the Officers page
The Royal Mail Sports Foundation has renewed it's sponsorship for the Anglia Region awarding us £300 for the second year running
Thanks go to Kevin Moss for preparing and submitting the bid for the grant
Some of the monies will be used to buy boules for a junior coaching scheme Kevin is running in the
Ipswich area and the Regional Secretary is also obtaining quotes for jackets for the Regional Team

SISCA Cassis Boules Challenge 2006
Sat 1 July 2006 played at The Cottage Norwich
The Norwich round of the Sisca Challenge was very poorly supported with only 4 Triples making the effort to play in this prestigious national competition.
The winners were JEDEPE ( Jerome Morais, Derek Shoesmith & Peter Astle) who won all their games and the runners-up were Thorpe Cottage ( Len Ellis, Colin Debbage & Derek Glanville).
These 2 teams will now go forward to play in the Grand Finals of the Challenge to be played in Battersea Park London on saturday 2nd september 2006 with both teams playing in the 'last 32' of the 40+ category
